Hey Guys! Let me let you in on a little secret…..when I started the journey into a plant-based lifestyle I made a lot of mistakes! I didn’t know what foods to eat, how to prepare healthy vegan dishes, and what combinations of foods were going to help me stay lean, trim and healthy. I did extensive research on vegan nutrition with a focus on weight loss and weight management. I discovered I needed nutrient dense foods that are high in fiber and water and lots of them. I don’t count calories, I don’t manage macronutrients! I am lean, mean and here after 5 decades on the planet thrilled to say I maintain a weight within 5 pounds of my 20 year old self!
