Friends, I started this blog when I really started to open my eyes to the toxins that lurk in our food and beauty products. Everything you put in and on your body is going to effect the way that body responds to you. If you treat your body well, it will respond in kind. I don’t take that lightly and you shouldn’t either. Through my blog I have been exposed to many cruelty free, natural brands that just don’t get the exposure that commercial products do. I have compiled my recommendations as a resource here:
You wouldn’t swallow a spoonful of toxic cosmetic ingredients. But in some ways, smearing them under your arms in the form of deodorant or antiperspirant may be worse. Parabens and Aluminum are absorbed into your fat cells and can damage your liver. Traditional deodorants are even linked to breast cancer.
I tried Crystal and couldn’t believe how well it worked. It kept me smelling fresh even through this awful Vegas heat and my daily workouts. I decided to try the Lavender scent which is a fragrance I love. The scent was very light and not at all overpowering. Crystal is also affordable at only $5.79. Sure a bit more than a grocery store brand but completely natural with no toxic chemicals that can harm you. If you use this link you will save $1.00.

GODDESS GARDEN SUNSCREEN
You bet we need to protect our skin especially as we get older. However, I have no intention of covering myself in a layer of chemicals. The most common sunscreens on the market contain chemical filters. These products typically include a combination of two to six of the following active ingredients: oxybenzone, avobenzone, octisalate, octocrylene, homosalate and octinoxate. Mineral sunscreens use zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide. These enter your bloodstream!
Goddess Garden is awesome! I have used it on several cruises and have not gotten the slightest bit pink. Big Fan!
